Sometimes you are happy with your current weight but would just like to make a few healthier changes to prevent disease and be the best version of yourself, which you can be. This can mean, having good energy levels, being free from chronic conditions, boosting your immunity, maintain a healthy weight, having enough energy to fuel your body during the day without relying on drinks that contain caffeine.
As Dietitians, we are not just trained in helping people to lose weight, but also to assist you to eat healthily by teaching you what different foods do in the body as well as what the healthy portion sizes are of different foods/ food groups. We also guide you in making healthier choices within each food group.
During the consultation, we will assess your current eating habits as well as current lifestyle/ medication/ exercise etc and then use this information to guide you with your individual dietary needs.
We can also help by teaching families to make healthier food choices that will suit the family as well as fit in with their culture, activity levels and different age group needs.
